A self portrait. Fabric allowed light to filter through and illuminate the watercolor pigment and embroidered thread. The same thread achieves different line weights and value depending on the space, air, and light between fabric, thread, and the viewer's eye. The monofilament knit has meandering pockets that house the pressed blossoms in a free floating snapshot.
